Hello,

we, that is Derek and Hastings, present to you "Speedmatazz" (5000C), a duo track of us two. As you can conclude from the title, our goal was to create a fluent, spectacular, smooth, challenging and, of course, fast track, and I dare say that we succeeded.

The idea originated from Derek's mind during our work at the second Hand of Fate track, and I gladly joined in. We started with "Speedmatazz" in early September, and hey, have a look at the result.

Yep, that's true, I have "an issue" with most precision tracks which don't offer room for deviation from optimum path, but it's not the case with this track - once you make the gap jump at the end of Derek's section (and perhaps even sooner), you can take quite a "wide" array of trajectories and they will all bring you to finish; in fact, on the inflatable you can make a wide turn or sharp turn and it still works. So that's why this track is "unprecise enough" precision track :-) and why i enjoyed racing it.

I suppose that TMX moderators think cuts are a part of the game. Generally, I don't like it, but this cut is an exception. I think that I am the first to find it. But, It's not easy to make this cut. Derek&(oxo)Hastings can make a version without this cut, without updating it. Do you know what I want to say?(Sorry for my bad english, but I hope that you can understand me)

P.S. The only excuse I have concerning that cut is that I just couldn't see any spot where a checkpoint would fit in.

Easy: Make the inflatable 1 tile shorter (racing direction-wise) and instead of that complicated heap of different approach ramps, place a CP and a ramp behind it...

Or, place a Cp on the grass between the bottom of the loop and the corner of the inflatable

Award worthy but its a shame it's cuttable. I spent ages trying to get the cut right and ended up giving up lol. Nice track apart from that though
