Hello and welcome to the 5th standard community track by ATP (Air Time Pros')!

This track is called "Wheelchair Racing", because virtually every difficult part of it has "handicap access" for those who - for one reason or another - fail to do it right.

Let's meet the builders and other participants:

captain: Alcator
builders (in order of appearance): Alcator, Blither, ExtReMzoR, LittleR()tt, Bindstar
custom signs: Blither
author time: LPsyborg
Intro & Outro: Alcator
In-game MT and GPS: !n5aN3

Here is a sign pack you MIGHT need: http://sgb1.jenicaprime.com/trackmania/signs/atp5_signs.zip

Each section of this track contains a technical section and some stunt, usually with a gap or off-set element in it. This combination of styles should be particularly challenging for single-style pros, so don't expect to finish this the first time you try...

Please, don't forget to provide feedback to the authors. Thank you, and have fun with Wheelchair Racing!

This track is "TM:United-compliant"!

What the above means is that if you restart from a checkpoint, you can always complete the track - there are no parts which require some "longer-acquired-speed"; the difficulty of this track consists of different elements.

===

I built the first part, in which I simply wanted to have that dip-into-jump-into-turn sequence. Blither took the track and added a fantastic rope-walk and hole-jump part; I'm amazed that the jump is so natural and perfectly placed that you have to screw "a lot" to not make it. still, there is alternate route for those who miss the hole or are too short on the jump.
Extremzor's part contains very unusual split loop with two different exit heights, and a tricky sharp turn at the end.
LittleRott's part actually starts at the booster before drop, but since this small part needed adjustments, the "official" start of Little's section is on the downhill before wallride.
Little's part ends with challenging diagonal jump; it's one of the "natural ones" - you'll probably make it right on the first run, but then, after you know the track, you may have trouble forcing yourself to not brake :-)
Finally, Bindstar built an unusual but working technical finish; I placed an outro camera on the point where I'm sure many drivers will crash into the wall -- don't forget to watch it in spectator mode :-)

All in all, this was a nice experience for me - only minimal adjustments were needed on this track, the builders did their best and I believe it shows.

I'll never get close to the time LP posted
Nice signs again Blither. I'm still learning the route but I'll try to post a time on it soon, glad you guys put in the slow lanes, I'll probably be taking some of them

loved working on this track

Such a hard track to do perfectly

You really find out who is a good driver and who isnt with this because of how insane the different elements of this track turn out..

Quite the track

Enjoy All
Good Luck

I really like this track!!
In a way its different from all of the rest because you see aspects that arent usually brought out, such at the slanted transfers and the tight squeeze on top of the sign....

The finish is a great part of the track because it shows who really can control thier car through a section of unproportional turns....
ive got the top time for now, but i know LP should be creepin up anytime soon with a time prolly under a minute!

Great job guys, very enjoyable

This was a fun track to make. It didn't need anywhere near the amount of tweaking that ATP 4 did and pretty much worked right out of the box. The overall speed is slower due to the innovative combination of stunt and tech, bit it fits well. This is a fun track.

The signpack was by me again. At Alcator's request, I went for a handicap theme with wheelchairs on all of the signs, as well as braille and handsigns. It's sort of an odd combination, bit it works well together and some of the signs are pretty funny. I hope you'll all like it.

No awards. well it did just get released very recently
Very well then.. I shall award it!
Alright so where to begin, the difficulty of this track is definately somthing to turnheads. I've played 'expert' track designs before but this one is by far one of the most difficult without having that irritating kind of play where everything must be perfect speed or you fail. Very nice use of a different kind of challenge and an overall great combonation of difficulty and that extra touch of originality from the ATP crew yet again!

Not a big fan of tech tracks but the work put into this is worth an award in and of its self. Wish I could make signs like that Blither, awesome work. Its also pretty fun for a tech track, just screw up at the end all the time. The part where you need to race on the small black sign things is pretty neat, and did a good job of making it flow pretty nice. Nice work guys.
